Scientists at the University involved in neurological medicine research will discuss their work and its implications for future treatment at a public meeting later this month.

Professor Janet Krska and Dr Sarah Corlett, of the University’s Medway School of Pharmacy, will be on hand to outline current areas of research at the Medway Neurological Fair 2018 event on 24 March.

Organised by the Medway Neurological Network, the fair will be an opportunity for anyone with a neurological condition – or their carers, family or friends – to find out more about current research and discuss available support with a range of organisations and service providers.

As well as presentations on research, neuro rehabilitation and advice on how to keep driving safely with a neurological condition, organisers expect more than 25 information stalls to be set up.

The event, which is free and open to all, takes place between 10.00-13.00 and 13.30-16.30 at the Pilkington Building, Universities at Medway, Chatham Maritime ME4 4JB. Free parking will be available on site. For more information and to book a place go here.

The Medway School of Pharmacy is a collaboration between the University of Kent and the University of Greenwich. The Medway Neurological Network is an umbrella Community Group for the neurological charities, support groups and service providers active in Medway.
