Professor Ray Laurence from the Department of Classical and Archaeological Studies was interviewed for a documentary on Pompeii.
The documentary Les Vestiges de Pompéi [The Remains of Pompeii], was broadcast on France 5 earlier this week (Tuesday 28 April).
Using careful reconstruction, the documentary uncovered the daily life of the inhabitants of Pompeii just before the eruption of Vesuvius in 79AD.
France 5 is a public television network in France, principally focussing on educational programmes.
The documentary lasts approximately 50 minutes, and will be repeated in the early hours of 14 May.
