October Open Days at Kent

The University is looking forward to welcoming visitors to its next Open Day.

These extremely popular events provide those who are interested in undergraduate, postgraduate and part-time study with an opportunity to learn more about academic and campus life at the University, as well as the applications and UCAS process.

The next Canterbury campus Open Day takes place on Saturday 19 October (9am – 3pm). To register please go here. This is the second Canterbury Open Day this month, with the Medway campus event having taken place on 12 October. Please note: the University welcomes informal visits at any time.

During Open Days visitors are able to tour the University’s extensive and award-winning facilities, including its high-tech crit room within Kent School of Architecture and Planning, its science laboratories, sports facilities, Kent Business School’s Sibson Building (named South East Building of the Year 2018 by the Royal Institute of British Architects), Kent Law School’s Moot Chamber, the Colyer-Fergusson Music Building, and its premises on the Historic Dockyard at Medway.

Visitors will have the opportunity to attend general talks on topics that include accommodation options, student finance, careers and employability, opportunities for studying and working abroad, the students’ union, and the University’s Support and Wellbeing Service.

They will learn more about Kent’s broad portfolio of subjects, delivered by some of the best teaching and research staff in the UK, and have the opportunity to attend workshops and laboratory demonstrations.

Additionally, visitors will be able to speak to representatives of Kent and Medway Medical School.

They will also be able to speak with current students, all of whom can provide them with insights on the Kent student experience and advice on how to get the most from Open Days, including the questions they should ask.
