Firms invited to free MBA lecture on digital transformation and leadership

High-profile speakers to offer advice and insights on how to provide strategic leadership in the era of digital transformation.

Hosted by Kent Business School (KBS) the event will take place on Wednesday 8 May from 17.00 at the Sibson Building on the Canterbury campus (pictured above). There will be three talks from high-profile speakers on digital transformation and how firms should adapt to benefit from this new era of business.

The first talk will be from Nnenna Ilomechina, Managing Director at Accenture Strategy. She will share her thoughts on what constitutes good strategic leadership and what skills set, mentality and professional education is required from managers in the digital era.

The second talk will be from Chris Roebuck, Honorary Visiting Professor of transformational leadership at Cass Business School. He will discuss what makes leadership work and how individuals and organisations can achieve their full potential with an approach he calls I CARE leadership.

The last talk will be from Tendayi Viki, an associate partner at Strategyzer, who has also worked as a consultant at organisations including Salesforce, the British Museum and the World Bank. He is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the School of Psychology at Kent. He will discuss the leadership skills required to successfully transform organisations into forward-thinking, innovative companies equipped for the digital era.

After the presentations there will be a panel discussion with the audience and networking opportunities with light snacks and drinks provided. The event is free to attend but places are limited so those interested in attending are asked to register online.
