Psychologists to present inaugural professorial lectures

Two psychologists at the University will deliver lectures in April and May to mark their promotion to professor, which the public are welcome to attend.

The first will see Professor Jane Wood, an expert on street gangs, present a talk on 18 April entitled Forensic Psychological Perspectives on Gang Membership: Theoretical and Empirical Advances. It will take place at 18.00 at the University’s Keynes College in KLT1. 

The second inaugural lecture, by Professor Heather Ferguson, will take place on 2 May. Entitled From Language to Meaning: Interpreting our Social World, it will focus on how we infer meaning from language and how this is influenced by different social contexts. It takes place at 14.00 at the University’s Keynes College in KLT1.
