The University is showcasing the ways in which its cutting edge research is used by businesses at an event (The Art of Science) at its Canterbury campus on Friday 21 April 2017.

Visitors will experience first-hand the University’s world leading research into innovation, creativity and enterprise. The event, which is part of World Creativity and Innovation Week, will showcase the University’s cross-disciplinary approach to developing projects with external partners, and how the latest developments could be adapted to businesses.

Talks and workshops will be held at the Jennison building, home to the School of Engineering and Digital Arts. The event will culminate with an innovative performance in the Colyer-Fergusson concert hall, where research from the School of Biosciences will be paired with live piano music to create a unique visual and musical experience.

Presenters include: Dr Dan Lloyd, Deputy Head of the School of Biosciences; Aylish Wood, Professor of Film in the School of Arts; and Dalia Halpern-Matthews, Chief Executive, Nucleus Arts.
