Students finding themselves in Clearing on 18 August are being advised by the University’s admissions head to stay calm and think of the situation as an opportunity.
Clearing – the process by which students seeking a place following A level results search for suitable degree course places – need not be too stressful, according to Steve Holdcroft, the University’s Head of Recruitment and Admissions.
His top tips for clearing include: think of clearing as an opportunity; don’t panic but do get yourself organised; make your shortlist and be flexible.
The University expects to have a limited number of vacancies in clearing for good quality candidates. Full details of vacancies and the clearing process at Kent.
