The Centre for Child Protection will be running a free Kent Child Protection Community Meet at the Medway Campus on 13 June (10am – 2pm) for professionals who work with children and young people in Kent.
Those attending will have the opportunity to share information and learn about other services and agencies in the area, and network with child protection practitioners, researchers and academics.
Professor David Shemmings OBE, Emeritus Professor of Child Protection Research at the University, will deliver the keynote speech.
Dr Tracee Green, Head of the Centre for Child Protection, said: ‘This is the first time we are bringing together multi-disciplinary practitioners, researchers, and special guest speakers with a focus on the safeguarding and protection of children in our locality. We are excited about this great opportunity to strengthen the connections within our child protection community and look forward to seeing everyone on the day.’
