Lunchtime Concert: Matthew Schellhorn

British pianist Matthew Schellhorn has been a leading performer for over twenty years, regularly appearing at major venues and festivals. He studied in Manchester and Cambridge, with teachers including Peter Hill and Yvonne Loriod-Messiaen. 

This recital includes works by Herbert Howells, which Matthew has  recently released on the Naxos label – Howells: Piano Music, Vols. 1 & 2 – both of which entered the Official Classical Charts Top 10 and were described by Gramophone as ‘a copiously rewarding voyage of discovery’ and ‘an undoubted treat.’
