Symphony Orchestra

The University Symphony Orchestra rehearses weekly and performs three concerts a year, including one in Canterbury Cathedral. Works to be performed this year include Respighi's Ancient Airs and Dances Suite no.2 and Mendelssohn's Italian Symphony.

OrchestraString players above Grade 6 welcome: woodwind and brass auditions take place at the start of the academic year on Saturday 29 September: see Getting Started for details.

Open to students, staff and alumni: external members are also welcome, but should contact the Director of University Music to arrange an audition.
