We offer several funding opportunities to students who are planning to embark on the MEMS MA and MEMS PhD programmes in the 2019/20 academic year.
Studentship for the MEMS Masters Programme
MEMS offers a studentship for those taking our MA in the 2019-20 academic year. All applications for the MEMS MA programme that are received (deadline has now passed for 2019-20) will be automatically considered for this studentship.
1)Postgraduate Taught Studentship
This studentship is funded jointly by the School of History and the School of English. All successful applicants for a taught MA with MEMS are eligible.
This studentship is available to UK, EU and overseas students and will cover tuition fees at the home rate for one year only.
How to apply:
The deadline for applications has now past for 2019-20. All candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree (First or high 2:1). To be eligible for this studentship, candidates must make a formal application for a taught MA with MEMS at the University of Kent (deadline has now passed for 2019-20). This must be done online via the Postgraduate Admissions web form
2) Postgraduate Loans for Master's Study
New - £10,000 loans for students studying a Master's
Loans are now available for both taught and research Master's programmes, for full-time and part-time learning, as well as split-site degrees.
