About

Bruno obtained his BSc, MSc in Statistics from University of São Paulo in Brazil. During his PhD in Statistics, he was supervised by Professor Heleno Bolfarine, at University of São Paulo, with a one year period at Duke University. He worked as an Assistant Professor in two Brazilian universities, Federal University of Bahia, in Salvador, and Federal University of Espírito Santo, in Vitória. Bruno also spent a period at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, as a Postdoctoral Researcher, with Professor Thomas Kneib. He has worked as Lecturer in Statistics at University of Kent, since September 2021.  

Research interests

Bruno's research have focused in quantile regression models and other flexible regression models, mostly considering Bayesian approaches. He has developed methods for different types of response variables, from proportion data to multiple-output response variables.
