University accommodation

Our Canterbury campus is set within 300 acres of parkland and features over 4,600 single occupancy bedrooms. With en suite facilities in over 50% of bedrooms and self-catering facilities in over 86% of bedrooms, our accommodation provides a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment. Choose between self-catered or part-catered accommodation, and a range of accommodation types including a variety of room sizes, bathroom facilities and rental periods, with budgets to suit your needs.

Undergraduate

Rooms are in flats, houses or a college and are offered on a self-catered, part-catered or catered basis. All of the bedrooms are for single occupancy and many have en-suite facilities. Accommodation costs include internet access, utility charges and personal room contents insurance.

Lower cost options

There are 797 rooms which are available in 5 bed self-catered houses and 399 part-catered rooms in College halls- all of which are below the average cost of a basic room (according to the NUS accommodation survey 2012/13). Students at Kent have the choice of 39, 37 or 31 week contracts.

Postgraduate

Eligible postgraduate students are offered self-catered accommodation at Woolf College offering en suite bedrooms for single occupancy in flats or studios.
