Timing of requests and appointments

Rochester Cathedral Library is open weekly on Tuesday and Friday, 10:00-16:00. It may be possible to arrange appointments on alternative days on request.

Please give us three working days' notice of your visit to enable us to retrieve the items. Materials requested on a Friday will be available by the following Tuesday.

A member of the Rochester Cathedral Library team will email confirmation of the date and time of the appointment.

Handling Rochester Cathedral books and manuscripts

Rochester Cathedral materials can only be accessed in our reading room and are not available for borrowing.

Bags, umbrellas and outer coats will need to be given to a library volunteer who will store them securely for you.
