Display, filming and events in the Templeman Library
We’re happy to support approved University and Kent Union promotions, filming and events.

Posters and flyers
We can display:
- A3 posters (portrait or landscape)
- A4 posters (portrait)
- A4, A5 and DL (1/3 A4) flyers and leaflets
Give anything you’d like to display to staff at the Welcome Desk. If there is space and it’s suitable, we’ll add it to our display stands.
We don’t allow posters or flyers on walls, doors or furniture.
Digital screens
The digital screens in the Library display portrait images and films, on rotation with other information.
We accept these file types:
Images
- .png, .jpg, .gif
- 1080 (width) x 1920 (height) pixels, optimised for screen (72dpi)
Film or animation
- .mp4, .mpeg, .avi, .mov, .wmv, .webm, .flv, .swf, .html
- no longer than 30 seconds
University brand digital screen templates are available to download from the University Brand Identity website. Please make sure you choose the portrait screen options (Plasma screen templates) if you would like your screens to display on the Library digital screens.
Send your file to ismarketing@kent.ac.uk, with the start and end dates for display.
Photography and filming
If you want to film or do a photoshoot in the Library, fill in these two forms and send them to ismarketing@kent.ac.uk with at least 1 week’s notice:
You’ll need to follow the Library's health and safety procedures while you are there.
Hold an event
You can reserve a table or space in the Library for promotional activities or displays – for example, promoting a University service, usability testing, Kent Union campaigns.
You can also hold a reception in the Templeman Gallery (A Block, Floor 1).
To book a space
Fill in these two forms and send them to ismarketing@kent.ac.uk with at least 2 weeks’ notice:

Exhibitions
The Templeman Gallery hosts University and wider community exhibitions. For more information, email templemanexhibitions@kent.ac.uk
