  • Brief description: Press cutting about Hewlett Johnson's visit to the U.S.A. for the Maddison Square Garden rally. It features a large picture of the Dean at a party given by Joseph E. Davies in Washington, and smaller pictures of Johnson in conversation with Davies, Henry Wallace, Archbishop Alexei of Yaroslav, Justice Harold Burton. There is no indication of which magazine this is from but it was originally mounted in an album sent specially to Johnson to commemorate his attendance at the American-Soviet Friendship Rally.
