Kent's Canterbury campus is built on 300 acres of parkland and is less than 25 minutes’ walk from Canterbury city centre. Residential, teaching and administrative buildings are surrounded by green open spaces, fields and woods.

Accommodation on our Kent campus

Deadline for booking accommodation on campus has been extended to Friday 7 April 2017 (with ten rooms available)

Single en-suite accommodation is available to book in Keynes College on the University of Kent's Canterbury campus, from Tuesday 18 April until Sunday 22 April:

  • All rooms are £42.95 per night, which is fully inclusive of breakfast
  • All rooms are provided with towels, linen, complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities
  • Book campus accommodation at Kent (use this link up to and including Friday 24 March)
  • After the deadline has passed (from Friday 24 March), it may be possible to book University accommodation via the Kent Hospitality website


If you have booked single accommodation the rooms are located in Keynes College. The 4* Visit Britain rated bedrooms are all en-suite with a private shower and toilet and are comfortably furnished.

Check-in is from 14:00 on your day of arrival and check-out is by 10:00 on your day of departure. Please visit Keynes Reception upon your arrival to collect your room keys.

Keynes reception will be open from 08:00 to 20:00 daily. If you are due to check-in to your accommodation after reception has closed you will need to contact Campus Security upon your arrival who will open reception. An internal phone is available outside reception to dial through to our 24hr security team.

Bedrooms are serviced daily and provided with towels, linen and complimentary toiletries. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided.

Delegates are asked to familiarise themselves with the University’s evacuation procedures, which are displayed on the back of the door in each bedroom.

Breakfast is provided in Dolce Vita, Keynes College between 07:45 and 09:30 and you will be required to show your room key to prove residency.

  • Places to eat and drink on campus: opening times for the café outlets available here - please be aware that, on the Friday night, Dolce Vita will be open to other guests too (ICCC groups will be kept separate from any others).

For information on visas to enter the UK see:

ICCC 2017 competition organisers will not be able to help with visa applications after 24 March 2017. The competition takes place in the week following Easter when there are national holidays in the UK so it may take longer than normal for visa applications to be processed.
