Why Choose Modern Greek?

Modern Greek is spoken by about 13 Million people world wide, concentrated in Greece, Cyprus and Albania. Descended from Ancient Greek, it is the world's oldest recorded living language, and is one of the 24 official languages of the European Union. Because of the influence of Greek in science and philosophy there are many English words borrowed from Greek or coined from Greek elements. The structure of Greek language and grammar make it a fascinating language to learn.
