How to claim and use your KentOne card

Your KentOne card is your student or staff ID card, so you do not require a second card for cashless purchasing.

Students

If you are a student, you should have claimed your KentOne card when you arrived at the University. If you didn’t please go to Student Records in the Registry where they have a KentOne card desk to assist with providing you a card.

Staff

If you are a staff member without a KentOne card, you will need to see your Departmental Administrator or complete the online form

Parents/Guardians

Parents/guardians can also have a separate login to add money to a student account. Please follow the instructions via KentOne Help Centre on how to link and top up an account.

Topping up and using

First visit the online top up system click on 'Forgotten Your Password?' and then type your Kent email address to set a new password.

Use the online portal to top up your card, see your balance and review your payments.

For ease of use we recommend using an alternative browser to Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge due to a technical issue on the supplier's website. We have notified them of the issue and they are working to fix this. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Paying for items is quick and easy, just hand your KentOne card over at the till and your account will be debited by the amount and your balance will be shown on your till receipt. You can also check your balance online or by asking in any of the College Receptions.
