Dr Zita Stone
Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and PG Student Experience (Taught)

Dr Zita Stone received her Masters of International Business and her PhD in Management from the University of Kent at Canterbury.
Zita is a passionate educator with leadership experience in the management of undergraduate and postgraduate courses portfolio, has a proven track record of implementing innovative solutions to facilitate student learning in her Education Leadership roles.
Zita is an engaged partner with enterprise and Alumni who successfully manages student consultancy projects – and maintains strong relationship with business and international academic contacts. Zita is also a member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and an HEA fellow.She is also a member of the following:
She has External Examiner experience from two HE institutions.
Zita has experience in chairing senior fora, productively engaging with external stakeholders and making sound strategic decisions.
Zita is actively engaging in research in the areas of strategic management, international business management, European integration, corporate financing in Central and Eastern Europe, equity culture development and financial institutions but also innovative practice in higher education, international business teaching, higher education – the identity of the HE student.
Zita has presented her work at international conferences organised by the Academy of International Business (AIB) and the European and International Business Academy (EIBA).
Zita’s teaching interests include strategic management, international business, international business in emerging economies, and European business.
Current Supervisees
In her professional life, Zita has worked as a lecturer in institutions in various countries including the UK, France, Slovakia and the USA. As part of her Education Leadership role Zita engages with accreditation bodies and PSRBs to enhance the course design stakeholder input from the professional practice as well as the staff and student experience across the course portfolio.
