Judy Cohen is a Lecturer in Accounting and Business Education at Kent Business School, University of Kent.
Previously, Judy was the Curriculum and Educational Developer (Assessment) in the Unit for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching at the university where she contributed to the University practice and policy in assessment. Judy has taught at undergraduate and graduate level in Australia, Sweden and Hong Kong in the areas of business, academic skills and English language. She qualified as an accountant with CPA Australia in 1992 and has additional academic qualifications in Education, Psychology and English.
Judy has researched assessment, academic integrity and plagiarism. She designed and managed the University's Academic Integrity website and the UELT Assessment site from 2006 to 2017. Judy's research interests and conference presentations also include enhancement projects on team-based learning, Programme Assessment, Using Turnitin and Writing development using online resources.
Judy is committed to supporting widening participation initiatives and inclusivity.
Judy's teaching interests include Accountancy, English for Academic Purposes and Academic Skills.
