Kent Business School is a research-led school that puts its students first, engages with business and plays an important role in the region. An outward-looking international school, we attract global talent and have partnerships with leading international business schools. (If you are joining us from overseas, take a look at our international student page.)
We believe our students are tomorrow’s entrepreneurs and business leaders. By providing a world-class business education and offering careers-focused guidance through workshops, networking opportunities and entrepreneurial initiatives we help them to fulfil their potential.
We are committed to developing employable, ethical and responsible graduates who can make a difference. Through research that addresses current organisational and societal challenges and provides innovative and sustainable solutions, we ensure that our students are aware not just of how business is conducted now but how it needs to be conducted in the future.
We provide an excellent environment for your studies making it easy for you to access the resources you need to fulfill your potential.
You learn from teachers who are experts in their field, many of whom draw on their own practical experience in their teaching. Most are active researchers and enjoy sharing their knowledge and discoveries with you. Our teaching methods are varied; you take part in workshops, individual and team presentations, and use case studies to apply the theory to actual companies.
Alongside your academic study, you can see if you have what it to takes to start your own business at ASPIRE, or take part in Pitch it! – a chance to work as part of a team to solve a business challenge.
Kent Business School has an international reputation for the quality of its research. Our research addresses many of the main challenges facing the global business community, and we work with leading companies and institutions including Parker Steel, Priority Freight, Port of Dover, Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL).
Our staff publish frequently in leading international journals and write text-books used by undergraduate and postgraduate students.

At Canterbury, we are based in the Sibson building. Recently built, Sibson provides first-class resources in a beautiful setting, with plenty of spaces to study and relax. Everything you need on campus is within walking distance, including a general store, a bookshop, bank, a medical centre and a pharmacy. You can go off campus to explore the city's medieval buildings, historic pubs and an array of shops. London is just an hour away by train.
Our Medway home is unique. Reflecting the innovative nature of our School, we have created a 21st-century learning environment in an historic 18th-century building on the Chatham Historic Dockyard area of Kent's Medway campus. The Dockyard is also home to the Galvanising Shop Café, and is just ten minutes' walk from the Drill Hall Library and student hub. Off campus, there is lots to do in the historic town of Rochester and nearby Chatham, with cinemas, theatres and good shopping. London is just an hour away by train.
