International Chromosome and Genome Society

Conferences

The society is now involved in the organisation of the International Chromosome Conferences (ICCs). The next one is being held in Boone, North Carolina, August 2009. As a start in this procedure, the society supported the local organising committee of ICC-2007 in Amsterdam and where the last general business meeting of society members was held. The board of the society is planning that the ICCs become the main venue for society business meetings.
Two previous ICGS conferences have been held, the first in Granada, Spain in June 2005, which was also the inaugural meeting where the current board was elected, followed by a very successful conference one year later in Canterbury. Details of these conferences including minutes of the associated business meetings are to be found on linked pages.
