We're now recruiting our new Directors of Divisions.

Whilst the composition of the divisions may vary, the behaviour and capabilities required for the Director of Division are common. We're looking for applicants with outstanding academic credentials, a track record of successful leadership, a proven capability for strategic thinking and the ability to inspire and motivate others.

You'll be responsible for the continued development, growth and financial sustainability of the division’s portfolio whilst enhancing the quality of provision to students. As well as leading the division, you'll be an active and engaged member of the Executive Group, taking collective responsibility for fostering a collaborative and collegiate environment in which people can perform at their best.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future: you will not only lead your division, but play an active part in contributing to the set up.

Further information about the role and the selection and assessment process can be found in the candidate brief.

Please note: The University has engaged the services of Wickland Westcott to support with the assessment and selection process for these roles. Applications should be uploaded onto Wickland Westcott’s application portal, below.

To apply you will need to submit the following:

  • A full academic CV detailing career and achievements

  • A covering letter of no more than 2 pages that addresses your motivation and suitability for the role. Please indicate in your letter which academic Division you are interested in leading.

If you were unable to attend a briefing session on the appointment process, the presentation slides and FAQs from the sessions are available below:
