Prospective staff

There's never been a better time to come and join the University of Kent. We were awarded gold, the highest rating, in the government's Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) and the most recent Research Excellence Framework (REF) ranked us 17th in the UK for research intensity with world-leading research in all our subjects.

If you are joining the University you may automatically have the right to work in the UK if you are a UK, EEA or Swiss national. We are required to obtain evidence of a person’s right to work in the UK so although you may be a UK national you will still be asked to produce your documentation.

Please ensure you hold the correct documentation evidencing your right to work in the UK. Incorrect or unacceptable documentation will result in a delay to your start date. Further information regarding the correct documentation can be found here.
