Learning and Development Office
The Learning and Development Office at the University of Kent aim to provide a wide range of learning and development opportunities for all categories of staff. The office is committed to working in partnership with other University of Kent departments, and with external agencies, to ensure that all staff are provided with the appropriate development to meet their individual needs and which are consistent with the University’s strategic plans. The Unit for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (UELT)
UELT provides a range of services for staff and students that promote a high quality learning experience at Kent. These include initial and continuing professional development of academic staff, curriculum and educational development including e-learning, quality management of learning and teaching and student advice and guidance for effective learning. UELT run lectures, talks and seminars on a variety of topics, some through their three Networks: Learning and Teaching; Quality Management Enhancement; Personal Academic Support System.
