As your Employee Apprenticeship Manager, I am here to help you in the process of accessing funds, matching the Apprenticeship to your role and sourcing a training provider to deliver the programme.

I often get asked questions so here are some of the most popular ones:

FAQs on Apprenticeships

What is an Apprenticeship?
An apprenticeship can be offered to new or existing employees. This is accompanied by training and the development of essential and transferable skills, knowledge and behaviours. It is a way for anyone, of any age and experience, to develop their skills further or support their career aspirations.

What is a Degree Apprenticeship?
Degree Apprenticeships involve employers, universities/ higher education providers and professional bodies in partnership, co-designing an apprenticeship to meet full occupational competency and with the inclusion of a degree,  and includes a full programme of training and assessment for the Apprenticeship.

As an Existing Member of Staff will my Job Title or Salary Change ?

There would be no change; a variation of contract is issued to allow you to complete your Apprenticeship programme by learning and working during your contracted hours.

What Apprenticeships are Available?

There are currently over 550 different standards, across a large range of industries and job occupations, from entry level to Higher and Degree Apprenticeships.
