It is our aim to develop our staff in such a manner that each individual’s personal goals and ambitions are met wherever possible, to the benefit of the individual, our customers and Kent Hospitality.
We are committed to supporting the ongoing learning and development of all our staff. Everyone is encouraged to consider their training requirements and these will be formally discussed at induction, probation and RPD meetings.
Please see below the various training courses currently available at the University:
- Food and Safety courses
- IT training (eg Level 1 ITQ Award, ECDL courses etc)
- Additional courses to support with learning and development
Anyone wishing to book on to one of the above courses (or any others they may be interested in) should first complete a staff development application form with their line manager. Once approved, please follow the booking instructions as detailed on the relevant website.
Line managers are responsible for booking all new staff onto the appropriate mandatory training courses within the first few weeks of employment.
