Humanities for Hire
The University of Kent is committed to preparing our students for the world of work. In the Faculty of Humanities, we recognise that you have a broad and diverse range of career paths open to you, and we have arranged the Humanities for Hire events to offer you advice, support, and to spark ideas about where your future might lead you.
Academic Schools from across the Faculty have joined with the Careers and Employability Service and Kent Union to bring you a host of events. Do you want to develop your key employability skills, like how to present your CV, or manage your time, or find work? Are you starting to think about future training and study? Do you want to gain an insight into your potential future career? HumsforHire aims to help you do all this and more.
We have events running across the Canterbury campus between 6th and 17th March, including the University's Postgraduate Study Open Evening (Tuesday 7th March) and the Jobshop annual recruitment fair (Tuesday 14th March).
Clicking on the image to the right will open a programme of events (pdf) which you can use to keep track of what's coming up, and help you decide what you will go along to. Make sure to head to the Careers website to book your place at each event, and join the conversation on Twitter using #humsforhire.
We look forward to seeing you!
