Equipment in most Canterbury and Medway spaces

  • Projection equipment and 'show sound', appropriate to the space
  • A lectern with teaching PC, DVD player and power and ports for a laptop
  • Lecture capture using KentPlayer (Panopto): PC screen and audio is captured. Most also have a webcam (or better) for video capture if selected
  • Many teaching spaces have hearing assistive technology

Additional in lecture theatres

  • A document camera (visualiser / digital OHP) which is recordable in KentPlayer
  • Most lecture theatres have a lapel mic for voice reinforcement, which can be selected for KentPlayer

Equipment loans: what you can borrow

If you need extra equipment for a particular room, this is what we have available:

  • document camera (visualiser)
  • laptop
  • portable voice reinforcement
  • webcam with tripod.

  • Go to room SE03, Cornwallis Octagon, Canterbury
  • Open Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17.00, closed 13.00 - 14.00
  • Other times may be possible on request
