Researcher Development Advisory Group (RDAG)

RDAG ensures the voice of researchers is heard in discussions about how best to support their development.

Engage with RDAG to further embed researcher development at Kent

The Researcher Development Advisory Group (RDAG) shapes the University’s strategy for supporting all academic and research staff across the whole academic lifecycle, ensuring it equals the best in the sector appropriate to Kent’s size and shape.

The group represents the interests of researchers across Kent, aligns relevant support activities with University policy, strategy and other initiatives, and works with Professional Services Departments and Divisional staff to guide their plans for researcher development.

RDAG monitors, maintains and renews Kent’s HRER accreditation and commitment made in the Concordat, overseeing the implementation of related actions and processes from across the University to ensure continuous improvement.
