FAQ for new students

General questions

What is registration?

You must register with us to become a member of the University. To register, you must have already enrolled. Not enrolled yet?

Registration is confirmation that you have taken up your place, commenced your programme of study and collected your KentOne card. If you do not enrol, you will not be able to register. If you enrol but do not register, you will have your access to University facilities withdrawn. You can register at the following locations:

  • Canterbury students: Student Reception, The Registry Building (Mon-Fri, 9am - 4.30pm)
  • Medway students: Gillingham Rception, Gillingham Building (Mon-Fri, 9am - 4.30pm)

What documents do I need to bring with me?

Is there any travel information?

I'm arriving from overseas. Is there any specific travel information for me?
