The Postal Service is part of Facilities Management and is located in the Estates Department on the corner of Giles Lane and Park Wood Road. The team is responsible for the internal mail system and the University Post Room, which interfaces with national and international postal services. Duties include:
- Collecting and delivering internal and external mail across campus.
- Receiving and despatching inland and overseas post.
- Despatching mail for special delivery via the most appropriate carrier.
- Negotiating tariffs with postal service providers and monitoring costs and quality of service.
