Building Accessibility

The University of Kent works with DisabledGo to provide detailed accessibility information about all of the University's campuses, buildings and facilities.

The University aims to create an inspirational environment that is accessible and welcoming.

Building accessibility requirments are incorporated in the planning and design stages of all new building and refurbishment works.

We are constantly carrying out improvements and adaptations to our existing buildings in order to improve accessibility.



Facilities

Most University buildings have lifts and accessible toilets.

A number of Seminar rooms and Lecture Theatres have been fitted with hearing loops.

Defects

To report a defect, please contact Estates Customer Services on (01227 8)16666 or log a defect using the online defect reporting system.

New Installations/ alterations/ bespoke setups
