Artists' Books and the Medical Humanities Workshop

Experience the creative, therapeutic and educational potential of artists' books and learn how to make one in this full-day practical workshop with book artist and educator Andrew Malone.

Learn about the American artist Martha A. Hall who used her experience of cancer to create hundreds of artists' books.

Get creative with cutting, folding, dissecting, stitching, collaging, creasing, hiding, excavating combining, adding any anything else you can think of.

Craft your own artists' book which is yours to keep.

Learn about the relationship between medicine, healthcare and the body

No previous art experience is necessary.

Kindly bring one or more small objects (photograph, letter, collage material, drawing, medical image/artefact or anything else connected to the theme of wellbeing).
