We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting abstract submissions for presentation (open communications) at the first Endurance Research Conference to be held between 2-4 September 2015 at the University of Kent. We invite abstracts in any area related to endurance, which includes not only exercise tolerance and traditional endurance sports like long distance running or cycling, but any kind of performance in which resistance to fatigue is important (e.g. also including repeated sprint ability in team sports or resistance to mental fatigue in athletes or those in demanding jobs such as soldiers). We are very keen to receive abstracts that relate to the thematic sessions held on Day 1 and Day 2 of the conference:
Day 1(Wednesday 2 September)
Day 2 (Thursday 3 September)
- Triathlon and ultra-endurance
- Medical Aspects of Endurance Sport
For instructions and guidelines on composing your abstract and completing the submission, please see here. Please also use the abstract template to compose your abstract (we can only accept abstracts submitted using this template document).
Authors are free to submit abstracts for either oral or poster presentations. Abstract submission is free of charge. After undergoing the reviewing process, all authors will be informed about the acceptance of their submission by 14 August 2015. Authors must register for the conference by 14 August 2015 at the latest to secure the presentation at the conference (otherwise we will have to remove your abstract from the conference programme).
Special reduced rate for presenting students!
We are also pleased to announce that the first 50 students who submit an abstract and register for the conference will receive an additional discount off £100 of the full conference registration fees.
