Study Plus

The University of Kent's Study Plus Scheme enhances student experience through providing a chance to learn new skills alongside students' degrees.


Study Plus is a range of short-term courses offered by Kent. The courses are free to all registered Kent students.

Study Plus enhances the student experience through providing students with a chance to learn new skills alongside their degree. The courses can improve students’ employability skills, broaden their academic knowledge and develop personal creativity.

Study Plus courses are non-credit bearing, but students can earn Employability Points and attendance at Study Plus courses can appear on their Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR)


Study Plus offer courses in the following areas:

  • Skills and Employability
  • Arts and Creative
  • Language and Culture
  • Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Science and Technology

Rewards 2017-18

Study Plus will award £150 Amazon voucher to the EP student who logged the highest number of points by completing Study Plus courses in 2017-18.
