Kent Enterprise Trust is a well-established charity based in Herne Bay and Whitstable, changing people's lives by getting them into or back into employment and training.


For 30 years, Kent Enterprise Trust has been changing people's lives by getting them into or back into employment or training. Kent Enterprise Trust offer work experience placements at Kent Enterprise House, allowing people to gain new skills and undertake a personal development journey.

Kent Enterprise Trust also allow people to develop horticultural skills at Stream Walk, their community garden in Whitstable, where they grow and sell their own produce.

We are passionate about creating real opportunities, and we support people in overcoming individual challenges.  We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to build confidence, learn and develop, improve their chances of employment and create a sustainable lifestyle.  Anyone can come and join in- if you’re out of work, a student, a volunteer or have health needs.

Rewards 2017-18

Kent Enterprise Trust will provide a variety of work experience placements (3-days per week for 3 weeks).

Marketing - The student will be reviewing the Trust’s Business Strategy and Marketing plans.

Volunteer Photographer - To work closely with the Kent Enterprise Trust team to promote events.

Volunteer Environmental Champion - To work closely with the Kent Enterprise Trust team to raise awareness about environmental issues with all our stakeholders as an awarded Healthy Business.

Volunteer Mentor - Chance to assist individuals with learning difficulties.

Events Volunteer - Assisting with planning and delivering events.

Fundraiser Volunteer- Assisting with fundraising activities, grant applications and delivering events.

This is fantastic opportunity to assist this worthwhile charity.
