Black History Month Underway at Kent
Black History Month (1st October – 31st October) is underway at the University of Kent, where Kent Union, the African-Caribbean Society and the Student Success Project have arranged a series of events focusing on the theme ‘Young, Black and Educated’.
As a part of the month, there will be various events including a guest lecture from Anne-Marie Imafidon MBE, a ‘Black and Educated Panel Discussion’, an art exhibition in the Student Media Centre and a public lecture from artist Akala.
