BAE Systems 2018 Graduate and Undergraduate Opportunities

Applications are now open for our 2018 Graduate and Undergraduate schemes – deadlines are 31st October for Undergraduate opportunities and 30th November for Graduate opportunities.

BAE Systems provide some of the world’s most advanced, technology-led defence, aerospace and security solutions, employing a skilled workforce of some 83,100 people in over 40 countries. Working with customers and local partners, BAE develop, engineer, manufacture and support products and systems to deliver military capability, protect national security and people and keep critical information and infrastructure secure.

The Graduate Development Framework (GDF) is a two-year scheme which develops people who are passionate about their chosen field.  As their largest scheme BAE Systems have a range of business and engineering opportunities available, covering everything from Naval Architecture, Electrical and Software Engineering to Human Resources, Procurement and Commercial to name just  a few.

Alongside this, BAE Systems Applied Intelligence offers a range of early career positions in Consulting, Engineering and Project Management. You will be involved in supporting the delivery of solutions which help our clients to protect against cyber threats and enhance their critical assets in the connected world.

For those with an interest in finance, there’s the five-year, Finance Leader Development Programme (FLDP) which is a fast-track finance graduate scheme, preparing individuals to become Finance Directors of the future.  The programme includes a structured and fully supported route to the highly respected Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualification.

Finally, Sigma is a three year fast-track leadership programme created for people of the very highest potential.  With only a few places available each year, graduates are provided with a breadth and depth of knowledge from across multiple business areas to develop as engineering and business leaders of the future.

BAE Systems also have a number of summer internship and industrial placements available in a range of business and engineering roles.
