Kent Workshop in Labour Economics: Labour Supply, Employment and Policy

The workshop is focused on the determination of economic status (work, self-employment, entrepreneurial activity and so on) when individuals interact in a world with frictions or informational asymmetries. Topics of particular interest are given by, but not limited to, intra-household aspects of labour supply choices, employment creation policies, credit constraints, and transitions between economic states. Keynote speaker of the workshop is Professor Costas Meghir (Yale University).

This workshop is a SaM event. This workshop is public and open to all.

The workshop will take place at the Kent Business School Symposium Room, University of Kent, Canterbury campus, UK. Directions to the University are available here.

The workshop dinner will take place at The Goods Shed. Please note that the dinner will be on the evening preceding the workshop.
