In the National Student Survey 2018, over 87% of final-year Economics students who completed the survey, were satisfied with the overall quality of their course.
For graduate prospects, Economics at Kent scored 87% in The Guardian University Guide 2019 and 88 out of 100 in The Complete University Guide 2019.
Of Economics students who graduated from Kent in 2016 and completed a national survey, 95% were in work or further study within six months (DLHE).
In the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) in 2018, our overall performance placed us in the top quarter in the UK with an 88% student satisfaction rate. We were also placed in the top quarter for two key theme areas: Teaching and Learning (92% satisfaction) and Engagement (81% satisfaction).
In the Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) 2018, the School also scored highly with an 86% student satisfaction rate, placing us in the top quarter in the UK. Individual satisfaction scores include: Supervision (88% satisfaction); Research skills (88% satisfaction), Progress and Assessment (80% satisfaction); Responsibilities (82% satisfaction); Professional Development (80% satisfaction).
