Summer 2020 examination timetable
Due to Covid-19 the examination processes have changed for 2020. For further guidance on August Exams see: www.kent.ac.uk/student/coronavirus/education/august
The dates for the main exam period for the 2019/2020 academic year are Monday 04 May to Friday 12 June 2020 (including Saturdays).
The timetable is published before the end of the spring term with the usual caveat that it is subject to potential amendments. Students affected by changes to the timetable will be contacted in the usual way by email directly from the Exams Team and by their school.
Students are required to be available for exams during the whole of the summer term and during the resit exam period in August, and should not arrange holidays or other commitments during this time. The Exams Office regrets that it cannot take the wishes of individual students into account when scheduling the timetable but we will endeavour to take any Religious Observance requests into account - Please see the relevant tab on the Before the Day information for full details.
Candidates must sit the exam at the campus at which they are taught a particular module. Exams at Canterbury are held at a number of venues including the Sports Centre, Darwin, Eliot and Keynes. Medway examinations are generally held in in the Gillingham and Pilkington buildings andDockyard Church.
Timetable for students
A personal exam timetable will be available via the Student Data System usually approx. two weeks before the end of spring term.
Once available, please logon and select Details and Study from the menu on the left hand side, and then select My Exams.
Your exam timetable is based on your module registration. If you have any doubts about the modules on your timetable then please contact the Central Student Administration Office (for Humanities and Social Sciences) Office or your School (for Sciences and postgraduate students) as soon as possible.
Please check your timetable carefully. In the unlikely event that you have two exams timetabled for the same time, please contact us immediately (email@example.com). Please ensure that you continue to regularly check your student data account during exams as there may still be changes.
If you have an Inclusive Learning Plan (ILP) please take a moment to check your exam adjustments are correct. On SDS you’ll see a button marked ‘My Inclusive Learning Plan’ if you have been in contact with the Student Support and Wellbeing team (SSW).
Timetable for staff
A timetable for staff, with two versions sorted by Date and Module Code will be distributed to School Administrators and Chief Examiners.
