Open Days at Canterbury
Yes. The campus is self contained, so all the facilities, including accommodation, are on one site. The campus is large (over 300 acres) so we recommend comfortable footwear!
Open Days at Medway
No. The campus has two teaching sites, Pembroke and The Historic Dockyard Chatham. Pembroke has teaching facilities for Computing/Business Information Technology, Criminal Justice and Criminology, Journalism, Pharmacy and Pharmacology, Social Work, Social Sciences, and Sport and Exercise Sciences. We have specialist facilities for the Centre for Music and Audio Technology and Kent Business School at the Historic Dockyard Chatham (10-15 minutes' walk from Pembroke).
The School of Sports and Exercise Sciences also has clinics, treatment rooms and other facilities at Medway Park (ten minutes from Pembroke). Our student accommodation, Liberty Quays, is approximately ten minutes' walk from Pembroke.
Yes. We'll post you a copy of the programme and there will be copies available on the day.
If you or any of your party have a disability or require extra support or facilities at the Open Days, we are happy to help wherever we can. Please contact us on +44 (0)1227 768896.
Staff from the Student Support service will be available on the day and you'll be able to have a chat with them about the support available at Kent.
We're well equipped to deal with a wide range of access and support needs on both of our campuses. There is accessible parking at both the Canterbury and Medway campuses, and both sites feature fully equipped and well specified toilets.
If you would like to find out more, please contact us before the day on +44 (0) 1227 768896 and we'll be happy to help.
While we would recommend attending an Open Day wherever possible, if you are unable to attend there are other opportunities for you to visit the University:
If you apply to Kent and we make you an offer, or you are invited for an interview, you will normally be invited to attend an Applicant Day. Our Applicant Day programme includes presentations in your subject area, guided tours of the campus (including University accommodation), and the opportunity to speak with the academic staff about your chosen subject.
Campus tour days
We offer guided campus tours at the Canterbury and Medway campuses throughout the year and you can book a place online.
The Open Day is a public event and an official photographer/videographer will be taking photographs and video for use by the University of Kent for its marketing and publicity activities and as such will be used in our publications, on our website and in social media or in any third party publication. Please contact a member of staff on the day if you wish to be exempted from this activity. For more information on how the University of Kent uses data, please see our Privacy Notice

Absolutely! We realise that choosing a university is a big decision with lots of different factors to consider. We encourage you to visit us as many times as you need to to find out all the information you need to make your choice.
There's a great deal of information to take in at an Open Day - you'll meet lots of staff and students so you're bound to think of extra questions once you get home.
You'll have seen them around campus and they're here to help answer your questions, so get in touch! You can also give our Information and Admissions team a call on +44 (0)1227 768896.
