COVID-19 (Coronavirus) update

We are closely monitoring the evolving COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation and following the latest guidance from Public Health England. In response to this guidance, the University has taken the decision to cancel all campus tours with immediate effect as from Tuesday 17 March 2020.

Explore via a virtual tour.

Tours of the Canterbury campus

Tours take place on Mondays and Fridays (except bank holidays) and are given by Kent students/graduates. Tours depart promptly at 12 noon from the Visitors’ Reception in the Registry Building. The tour takes approximately 75 minutes and you will see the main campus facilities including the Templeman Library, the Students’ Union, and the Sports Centre.

The tour does not include visits to individual academic schools or student accommodation, but you can find out more about the course(s) you are interested in by looking at our course finder. Your guide will point out the various types of accommodation during the tour, and there is also an accommodation virtual tour. The campus is made up of 300 acres of parkland, so we recommend comfortable footwear!

Please arrive at the Visitors' Reception in the Registry Building at least five minutes before the tour starts. If you arrive after the tour has left, we will provide you with a self-guided tour leaflet so you can still complete your tour.

Campus tours will not run between 16 December 2019 – 10 January 2020. However, you are still welcome to visit the University and take a self-guided tour during this period.
