You are more than your grades

We know it’s been a difficult year, particularly when you’re studying and making decisions about university. So we want to help you as much as we can over the months ahead.

When we consider applications, we have a supportive attitude. This means looking at each student’s circumstances as a whole before deciding whether to make an offer to study here. We take the same, flexible, approach when we receive your exam results.

Your grades in 2021

The Government has announced that this summer's exams in England have been cancelled. A level and GCSE results will be decided by teacher-assessed grades.

The Department of Education is working with exam regulator Ofqual to finalise how grades will be processed and when students will receive their results. We will provide further updates as soon as we can.

At Kent, we always consider all your circumstances and aim to be flexible when making decisions. So, stay focused on your future and if you have any questions about how these changes might affect your application, get in touch.

Once you’re here, you have access to a variety of academic and personal support to help you settle in and succeed. We asked some of our undergraduates what they think about the support they’ve had since arriving at Kent:
