Course structure

You study the core fundamentals in programming, web and databases. You develop your programming skills and focus on the engineering of large software systems.

How you'll study

We know that people learn in a variety of ways, so most modules consist of a mix of lectures, practical classes, and seminars. You'll work on group projects, computer simulations and case studies, with a large-scale project of your choice in the final year. Programmes are taught by leading researchers who are experts in their fields.
