Financial markets play a fundamental co-ordinating role in addressing issues such as poverty and development, environmental protection and financial and monetary crises.

By specialising in financial economics, you'll gain the skills and tools to make a difference in the world around you and also expand your employment opportunities. Recent graduates have gone on to work at the Bank of England, Government Economic Service (GES), Ernst & Young, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and more.
