You can help support the University, by investing in our outlets. Drive revenue back into the University to help improve the campus, through ongoing maintenance and upkeep of our services.    

What's available to you?

Check out the range of facilities and services available on the Canterbury campus. Book a room for a student event and order pizza from Hut 8, have lunch delivered to your door with the OrderUp! app or hire one of our fantastic venues to hold your next big event. Whatever it is, we have it.

Darwin Conference Suite

Darwin Conference Suite is our all-year-round flexible conference venue, situated in Darwin College.  

An adaptable space for a maximum of 200 people. It can be used as one large room or divided, with soundproofed walls, into three smaller rooms with a capacity of 40 to 100 people. The space has its own reception area, cloakroom, dance floor, and bar.

The flexibility of this space allows for a wide range of meeting and event needs to be met—boardroom or theatre style for those important business meetings or talks or banqueting style for dinner dances.

The Beagle private fine dining

Dine at the Beagle, an exclusive and private experience for groups of between 12 and 22 guests

Enjoy a range of delicious menus, created by our extraordinary chefs and brought to you by a dedicated service team.

This is an intimate dining space, which can be customised and decorated to suit your occasion, for a truly unforgettable event.

Frequently asked questions

If you require catering between 09:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday for up to 50 people, you can use our online booking system.   

We can provide a range of options to suit your needs. Why not start that 9am meeting with coffee and danish pastries, serve mid-morning refreshments, take a break for lunch with a savoury platter and buffet, or round off an event with canapés and your choice of beverages? Take a look for yourself at our delivered catering menu.

If you require catering in the evening, at weekends or for more than 50 people, email us at internalcatering@kent.ac.uk or call the Conference Office (ext 8000) with details of your requirements and a member of the team will be happy to assist.

We are happy to discuss your requirements with you and come up with a bespoke package to fit your needs, whether this is a pizza party, BBQ or cocktails, we're here to help! Just email conferences@kent.ac.uk or call (ex8000) to speak with a member of the team.

Kent Sports Clinic offers a range of services from physiotherapy and sports massage to health services and a respiratory clinic. These services are offered by qualified staff and through student-led services for a fee. Visit the Kent Sports Clinic webpage for more information on the services they provide, including prices. 

You can choose between qualified and student-led appointments for many of our services. Booking and payment for most services can be made online.

The KentOne card uses contactless technology so for most access features you'll just need to show it to the right person or scan it on the right machine. It also works the same way as your contactless debit/credit card when using it to pay. Find out more here.

You can top up your KentOne card with money in most accommodation receptions, however, the easiest way to do it is to top up your account online using this link.   

There are lots of places across the Canterbury campus where you can use your KentOne card to pay. Some even offer you a 10% discount when you do!
