I work within the Kent, Surrey and Sussex NIHR Applied Research Collaboration and my role is focused on the beneficial changes arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.

I trained initially as a nurse and worked across acute and community settings for 11 years, including leading one of the first community stroke teams. I moved into NHS management in both providers and commissioners with the final ten years in executive director roles in the NHS in Kent, ending with eight months as NHS tactical commander for Kent during the Covid-19 pandemic. I joined CHSS in Jan 2020. Education My undergraduate degree in Nursing was from Christ Church University College / University of Kent and my Masters was from University of Greenwich in Health Research. I joined CHSS in January 2020.

Research interests and expertise:
• Covid-19 operational aspects and beneficial changes
• Integrated care
• Place-based healthcare
• Sustainable healthcare.
